丁勇,男,理学博士,教授,博士生导师。19937月毕业于内蒙古大学化学系,19937月至19998月在内蒙古鄂尔多斯化工集团公司工作,其间于1996.8-1997.8在吉林大学化学系进修学习。1999年考入中国科学院兰州化学物理研究所物理化学专业攻读硕士和博士学位。200412月,获得理学博士学位后加盟兰州大学化学化工学院,受聘为副教授,硕士生导师。200912-20111月作为访问学者,在美国埃默里大学化学系学习。20115月被兰州大学聘为教授,同年被聘为博士生导师。现为兰州大学化学化工学院物理化学研究所所长,Chin. J. Catal.青年编委,中国科学院兰州化学物理研究所羰基合成与选择氧化国家重点实验室客座研究员。先后主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目,国家自然科学基金面上项目,甘肃省自然科学基金重点项目,教育部中央高校基本科研业务费重点项目,羰基合成与选择氧化国家重点实验室、化工资源有效利用国家重点实验室、稀土资源利用国家重点实验室等开放基金和甘肃省金川集团股份有限公司储备项目等研究课题。

   目前从事的研究领域有:(1) 人工光合作用的化学模拟;(2) 光催化以及光电催化水的氧化和水的还原;(3)多金属氧酸盐 (杂多酸) 的合成、表征以及催化性能的研究。至今已在J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed, Energy Environ. Sci., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, ACS Catal., J. Catal., Appl. Catal. B-Environ., Chem Commun., ChemSusChem, J. Mater. Chem. A, Green Chem.SCI学术刊物上发表研究论文约90篇。
