报告人简介

Toshikazu Miyoshi received his BS and MS degrees from Hokkaido University in 1992 and 1994, respectively. He obtained PhD from Kyoto University in 1997. After completing his postdoctoral work at the Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, Germany, he joined Japan's National Institute of Advanced Technology and Industrial Science (AIST) in 2000. He then joined The University of Akron as an associate professor of polymer science in 2010 and was promoted to professor in 2018. Since 2016, he has served on the editorial advisory board of Macromolecules and ACS Macro Letters. Professor Miyoshi is now the director of Accelerated Master Program. His research interests include the development of solid-state NMR technology and its applications in semi-crystalline and glassy polymers, self-assembly and biomaterials. He has published more than 80 scientific papers.
