Masaya Sawamura教授简历:1984: Department of Synthetic Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University, B.S. (Prof.Tatsuya Shono). 1989: Department of Synthetic Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, Ph.D. (Prof. Yoshihiko Ito). 1993-1994: Visiting Researcher at Harvard University (Prof. Stuart L. Schreiber). 1989-1995: Assistant Professor, Kyoto University (Prof. Y. Ito). 1995: Assistant Professor, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Prof. E. Nakamura). 1995-1996: Assistant Professor, The University of Tokyo (Prof. E. Nakamura). 1996-1997: Lecturer, The University of Tokyo. 1997-2001: Associate Professor, The University of Tokyo. 2001-present: Professor, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University. He was awarded the Eizai Award in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan (1990); the Chemical Society of Japan Award for Young Chemists (1996); OMCOS Poster Prize in Organometallic Chemistry (2007); National Science Council of Taiwan Lectureship Award (2008); Asian Core Program Lectureship Award (2008, 2012, 2013); The Chemical Society of Japan Award for Creative Works (2012); Hokkaido University President Award for Outstanding Research (2014); SSOJ Nissan Chemical Industries Award for Novel Reaction & Method 2014 (2015). His research interest focuses on synthetic organic Chemistry, especially the development of new catalysts and organic reactions.

 

Hirohisa Ohmiya教授简历:Hirohisa Ohmiya is an Associate Professor of Hokkaido University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Kyoto University (Japan) in 2007 under the supervision of Professor Koichiro Oshima. He spent one year as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow in the group of Professor Timothy F. Jamison at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA). In 2008, he became an Assistant Professor at Hokkaido University (Japan) working with Professor Masaya Sawamura. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2010. He received The Chemical Society of Japan Award for Young Scientists (2014), Thieme Chemistry Journal Award (2015), and The Young Scientists’ Prize, The Commendation for Science and Technology by MEXT (2015). His current research focuses on the development of new catalytic reactions and their application to organic synthesis.
